i'm fixin' to install the foot rest for the throttle for my '30 coupe. what is the distance from the throttle post to the bracket bolt hole? of course, i can just fit it to my heal but "correct" might be nice (for a change). thanks, jim

bear, yes, except my bracket is a rectangle with a 3/8th bolt hole through the lower, overlapped flanges and has two nubbins underneath (i think these are to keep it from swiveling). the foot rest is 2 5/8 x 1 5/8 in. so this is to be bolted through the firewall; i have no half moon metal plate there. how far back from the throttle post do i drill the bolt hole? thanks for the reply, jim

The foot rest in question mounts through a metal plate that is attached to the wooden toe board below the firewall like shown on the link that "BearsFan315 " posted above.
