OP dblclh Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: May 2005 Posts: 127 seattle, wa	i'm fixin' to install the foot rest for the throttle for my '30 coupe. what is the distance from the throttle post to the bracket bolt hole? of course, i can just fit it to my heal but "correct" might be nice (for a change). thanks, jim jf lewis

OP dblclh Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: May 2005 Posts: 127 seattle, wa	bear, yes, except my bracket is a rectangle with a 3/8th bolt hole through the lower, overlapped flanges and has two nubbins underneath (i think these are to keep it from swiveling). the foot rest is 2 5/8 x 1 5/8 in. so this is to be bolted through the firewall; i have no half moon metal plate there. how far back from the throttle post do i drill the bolt hole? thanks for the reply, jim https://www.ebay.com/itm/1926-1927-...p;_from=R40&rt=nc&LH_TitleDesc=0 looks like this, j Last edited by dblclh; 08/01/18 03:28 PM.
