Question: how do you distinguish a set of original foot scrapers from the reproductions ? is there a features to look for on the originals that the reproductions don't have? looking at purchasing a set just wanted to confirm they are in fact originals. Thanks guys

Salas,

Owing to there being no response to your inquiry, I will weigh in although I have nothing to offer in answer.

I have a set of origninal scrappers in mint shape with the rubber ends.

I have not seen a set of the reproductions but I don't think they would be that difficult to reproduce.

Most of us don't really like them on a car but some do. I am that way on them and the skirts and washboards. I think the car looks as good if not better without those three accessories,

Maybe now that I have broken the ice, someone else will gve you better advice on how well they look in comparison to the originals.

Best,

Charlie computer
