I know it isn't stock, but i feel better wearing belts in case of a minor accident, and they can be shoved behind the seat for visual 'correctness", if necessary. How do they look?
I think the firearm is more disconcerting. Getting ready for road rage? Seriously belts are a good idea and an acceptable modification. Trying to figure a way to incorporate into my 29 sedan.

Firearm? Firearm? Where you from, boy? Oh, wait, Ah, Canada. No wonder. Land of the the , oh well, never mind....
Didn't you ever watch Dillinger or Bonnie and Clyde?
Those seat belts look fine as they are, even though I have not had a car, truck or tractor fall off my back in 50 years of driving I do intend to fit 3 point retractable belts in the 38. The only time a firearm is disconcerting to me is when I am at the open end of the barrel, I am not 1 of my former Prime Ministers scaredy cats. Tony

Gene, I hope you are not up to date. Since I am no longer a part of the Judging Committee and have not shown a vehicle since Flint, I am surely not up to date.
In the past tires didn't need to match the original size, make or tread design. Hoses and belts didn't need to match originals. Obvious reproduction parts (that function but don't exactly copy an original) have been accepted. Honeycomb radiators could be replaced with cellular (aka V-cell) or fin & tube. Outside rear view mirrors could be installed. In one case a powerglide transmission was allowed in a late 40s truck. I could list more but I think most will get the point.
Wavers or not deducting points for non-original parts is a very slippery slope.
On a different note DMelton, if anyone has never seen the movie clip you posted from youtube it is worth watching. One of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
