If you are a member of the VCCA you can contact the 1929 truck technical advisor and he will be able to help you with your questions. If you're not a member..........JOIN! At any rate, the Filling Station has some reprint literature like parts books and etc. that can also help you. Good luck! laugh laugh laugh laugh

Hi Marc-
The 1929 Series LQ 1 1/2 ton truck is included in the 1929-51 Master Parts Catalog. My copy contains exploded illustrations of mechanical assemblies, and parts numbers that interchange with other years and models. They come up on Ebay frequently. An earlier printing like 1929-38 would give more information and better coverage. Also, a 1929 passenger car and truck Shop Manual would be very helpful. A reprint is available from the Filling Station.

Check Ebay often for 1929 Chevrolet literature, manuals and sales brochures. Good luck.

Hi Mark W,

Go Here and download an application and follow the instructions. If you like you could enter L11026 in the bottom line where it says recommended by.

Once you are a member then I can probably help. The '29 Technical Advisor spends several winter months in Florida and is not at his primary address.

In addition to the owners manual and repair manual reprints, you can also get a reprint of a 1932 parts book that will be of help. The Filling Station has all of them.
