Dose anyone know if I can put a 427 tall deck engine in a 1969 caprice

You sure can, they came from the factory with 427's

it is my understanding that impala and caprice were pretty much the same car - that being said i have a 69 impala with a 427 from the factory ---- hope this helps ---

Hi Red,
Yes, the engine will fit.
I hope you have the special intake manifold - otherwise, you will need to use "spacers".
Ahhhhh, do I detect a stroker motor being built???? :confused:
