Restoring 30 roadster. Purchased roadster ,fairly complete, but am missing interior door handles and latches. Are they same as coupe or sedan? Who made the bodies for 30 roadsters? Is the seat same as 31? Top framework and bows were stolen from car while in storage. Have since purchased hand made copy of 31 top framework and bows which is really very good. anyone know what the differences would be between the two? Is it usable on my 30 or will I have to modify it? Was rear window frame made of wood or metal? Any help greatly apreciated. Thanks

jfalk,
Interior handles and locks are the same for 1929-35 Roadster, Phaeton and 30-32 Roadster pickup. They are different from sedan, coupe and other "closed" cars. The Roadster bodies were made by Chevrolet not Fisher Body. The top bows are different 1930 and 1931 so would have to be modified. The rear window is sewn into the top. The 1931 has a wooden inside piece and metal outside piece for the rear window.

I know of someone that is doing the latch part for your car, I've been waiting about 9 months for them for my 32 phaeton.
