Speedometer shows MPH just fine but odometer is not turning.

I have it out of the car and took the cover off to see if anything obvious was wrong.

Nothing I can see without further disassembly.

Who do y'all recommend to fix this?

Filling Station rebuild is a little pricey.

thanks again,

The odometer reels are gear driven so you can look for missing cogs, maybe a little more disassembly would be needed. If you need to send it for rebuild anyway it might not hurt to give a look. They will have to put it together after it is apart anyway.

Ask for your speedometer to be worked on and returned to you. You do not want another speedometer from somewhere else. They do excellent work. I had mine done there.

I've used D&M Restorations in Greenville, S.C. for many years....since about 1997. Does great work. Yes, they are all a little pricey Chris but if your in Burnsville how far is it to personally take it to D&M and chat with Mike face to face. He knows his stuff. He can also screen print speedometers if that is preferred way.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hubcap than ride in a Ferd.
