Well folks,

Just received my generator today and placed it on our 32. Adjusted the 3rd brush a bit and it is good to go. Not a place near me here in Williamsburg could rewind the coils etc. as they all tried to find replacements. Sent a 943-J core to them (burned completely up) as well as the one that was on it (a 35 I think) to have them both rebuilt. 943-J with original tag is on the 32!!! Field coils, armatures, sealed bearings, oil lite bushings and new brushes all around. If you need anything rebuilt, call Tom at United Rebuilders in Seneca SC 864 882 3026. Great guy and treated me like family. Tell him Mike McLeod sent you.

I have to ask.......well......don't HAVE to but I'm GOING to.......how much did it wind up costing all in?
Last August I found myself in the same boat and bought a rebuilt on ebay for $230.
I'm still as happy about mine as you are about yours...... Agrin
