GMGuyBob Backyard Mechanic Joined: Jun 2015 Posts: 269 Pennsylvania	On the early cars I don't think you have much choice as they are pretty closely attached to the frame and can only go down one way. It depends on how yours was finished. On 50's and 60's cars I would pull the top out from the frame then fold it over the frame before putting the boot on.
