As many Art Deco truck enthusiasts know the spare tire carriers are very hard. There is one listed for sale, bid or buy it now, as of this morning. Tried posting a link here without success.
Search that site for “Chevy GMC Pickup Truck Spare Tire”. It’s listed as a part for the 1939-1946 truck models.
It took me several years to find the parts for my ”˜46 project. And the final cost was more than this buy it now price.
