A lot of the products we used to use have been discontinued and no longer available. Black top I think it was called was a shoe shine looking soft paste we would apply to the canvas top to waterproof it. I use it on my 35 std coupe . Lasts for quite a while and usually have to search the garage for it.

I bought something from RAGG TOPP in new England for a roadster top that will be made from LeBaron Bonney HAARTZ canvas. My 35 phaeton will need to be cleaned with it also.

Its also sold on ebay

Chevgene is correct the turret top is all steel. I assume you are talking about the fabric top?

Thanks for the correction. Yes I am referring to the fabric. Mine is in very good condition. The car was restored in 2003. I want to keep it that way.
I will look into Ragg Topp products.
