I have a friend that is in charge of a 53? Vette. Tag on post just below left side of windshield reads E53F 001135. Is this a 53 and if so, when in sequence was it built?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

its a 53 vet, the 135th out of 300 built. vin #'s started at 1000 in that year. mike mccagh
