I have a couple of boxes of film strips but not sorted out for the most part. I did sell some to Ardie also. Perhaps some day I will get time to let you know what I have.
It is intresting to note that the complete engine being installed on the 1936 assembly line has the road draft tube and fan blade engine color. The "originals" that I have seen have these items black.
The fan blades and the draft tubes being engine color is nothing new. I have a lot of literature for 1929 thru 1932 and a great many pieces of the literature shows or indicates that the fan blades, water pump pulleys, generator pulleys, harmonic balancers and oil filler tubes were all painted engine color. I have some other literature from the mid 1930's that also show the same as being true for the later vehicles as well. Over the years I have documented some original cars with the same engine parts being painted engine color, including my all original 1932 Special Sedan.
