Stubo, according to the membership roster, there are 10 VCCA members in the UK. Are you a VCCA member?

No I’m not, I didn’t realise there was a membership to be honest this is all a learning curve for me I brought a 1928 Chevy tourer in 2008 it was just a shipping container of parts I have been rebuilding it in my spare time from scratch and could do with seeing one in flesh to figure out engine configuration etc

Hi Stuart, There are many benefits to joining the VCCA. Being able to search the membership database is one. Another is to be able to use the Search Function to find things that have been talked about before on these forums. Here is a write-up about how to use the Search Function: Search hints and tipsAs reference for your engine questions, check out my recent rebuild of a '28 engine: Resurrecting a '28 four bangerCheers, Dean

Stuart, the membership roster shows there are two VCCA members in the UK that have 1928 Chevrolets. One is in Dartford, Kent; and the other is in Polegate, East Sussex. Like Rustoholic said, join the VCCA and receive the benefits.
