I'm looking for a set of upper windshield post studs for a 1931 Roadster. I bought a set of knurled nuts (the small ones) from Gary Wallace but now I realize the stud that is there has been modified and is not the right thread match and is too short. Does anyone have a set from an old rusted out frame or know of a better solution or replacement method?

I had a local machinist make those for me. Gave him a sample and didn't take long before they were duplicated. The even had the groove for the special washer with the internal tab so it does not rotate.

I went the same route chipper did. The studs are simply threaded into the windshield frame and are not that hard to remove. They're not a big deal for a machine shop.

Ok, thank you...I'll look into a shop that could make them. If anyone has a picture or could come up with measurements that would be great.
