The 1937-1940 spd. gears for a 3.73 ratio are part number 602318 and the gears have 5 and 14 teeth. There were sold as a mtached set.

The 6-17 is for a truck and also requires and adapter for correct reading.

Think I have a 3.73 in car already,2 turns of wheel should equal 3 3/4 turns of drive shaft to be a 3.73,Is that correct?

If the car is a Master with a front straight axle it has the 3.73 gears.
If in doubt remove the rear cover and count teeth or find the stamping on the ring gear.
