I have some NOS, NORS, and used outside door handle for passenger cars. They have the same outside appearance as the truck handles for '39 - "46. What year cars used this style handle.
Also, I made a key for one of them and was surprised to see that the key turns either way, but is spring loaded back to center. Is this correct? Does the pawl bump something in the latch to lock the door, then bump it back in the opposite direction to unlock?
These will be for sale when I find out what they fit. Thanks.

Mike

My guess would be 38 or 39 or 40 car and do you have spring that goes inside door handle to hold lock cylinder and sleeve in place, P O must have lost the one in mine during re plating.
