Anyone know of any suppliers who have aftermarket or NOS chrome panel trim inside?

No luck on Hampton Coach/Ciadella, etc.. Nothing on Ebay or CL either .

Thanks

Rick

Thanks Ray.

I've had some dealings with this guy in the past which led me to not do business with him.

I will keep looking.

That is an item that will never be reproduced.
I assume that you are looking for the long zig-zag moulding used on Deluxe models. That moulding is listed as fitting 2 door Fleetline and Styleline models as well as the coupes. Also 1951 and 1952 are the same. Convertible and Bel Air are different.

Have you tried the larger auto salvage yards that advertise in the midwest? Some have yards with thousands of cars and they sell mostly parts-usually not the cheapest route but sometimes the only one.

Yes, Gene.

That is what I seek. Keep me in mind if you stumble across one of these.

Cheers,

Rick

Rick,
You may want to consider posting a "parts wanted ad" in an online forum, such as H.A.M.B., where many interiors are pulled, in favor of custom interiors.
FACEBOOK is another good source for interior parts, for the same reasons.
Several different forums for '49 to '54 Chevy on F.B.
If you frequent F.B., I can direct you to the sites, by the forum names.

Bob,

Thanks for the tip. I hadn't considered other forums.
As for FB, etc. etc. I avoid that stuff. I fear if I ask the Boss (read wife) I will never get her attention again as she is hopelessly addicted to FB and her "smart phone." She doesn't need anymore corrupting influences. LOL

Good thing she doesn't read this.

Thanks Bob.

Will do. That also sparked my memory of the Old Car Parts salvage place in Portland, OR.

Cheers,

Flat top doesn't have them. Will try the Portland yard. Thanks again.

Hey All!

LeBaron Bonney has lengths of chrome trim (stick on) for doors!! FYI.. It's generic but may serve my purposes on my driver.

Actually got a bite on the HAMB forum. Stan's Stainless in Bethlehem, PA has them for 40 bucks plus shipping. Never done biz with the guy so a little leery. No rush as I actually ordered the pvc stuff from LB.
