I'm sort of doing this backwards but it needs to be done regardless. After having a total strip and paint done on the body of my 29 I decided to repaint the engine compartment along with the wheels after installing new tires. As of now the engine has been stripped down clean of all black items. For example, heater funnel, horn, starter generator and anything else that isn't to be painted the dark gray. This whole thing is keeping me occupied with my retired boredom and turning it into a sweet hobby. Engine is currently bare and will be primed and painted tomorrow, with hopefully the black to be done over the next few days. I also have stripped the chrome radiator surround from the car and have sent several other parts to the chrome shop. I picked those up the other day and am very happy with the results. If any of you need chrome plating services I can highly recommend Deco Chrome in Ormstown Quebec. 1-888-829-3735, ask for Jack and you can tell him I sent you.
