Says larger then 0 kilo bytes? Only VCCA members can upload images to the forums. If you give me your member number I can upgrade your forum acct so you can upload images.

Beamer... avatars are different than attachments. Your avatar must be smaller than 100x100 pixels; .gif, .jpg, .png accepted.

I understand that, but where and how do I get a picture that size? My camera only goes down to 640 x 480 pixels. I have always just uploaded the photo in my photos as my avatar without any problems. I tried a couple of places that advertise changing pixel sizes but one locked up my computer and the other stored a blank all three times I tried it. If you know of a place that can reduce my regular picture to 100 x 100 pixels, I would appreciate a heads up on it or anything else I need to do to get my old car photo uploaded as my avatar. I am not super computer savvy so the simpler, the better. Thanks. Beamer

Peter, It looks like you removed the forum that contained the detailed instructions on how to do this. It was in the MEMBERS ONLY section. And, it also had a link to a FREE program that allow folks to resize their images.

Peter, Before I saw your offer to email you my Avatar, another member, "Jeff", graciously offered to help me out. As you can see, I now successfully have my Avatar back. In addition, he also gave me some very clear instructions on how to adjust pixel size in the future should the need arise. I do thank you for your offer. Beamer

The software I use to resize is a simple, free, photo editor. It's not on par with Photoshop but it also doesn't cost hundreds of dollars. Irfanview.
