I know this is not "parts wanted" section, BUT
I just bought a 59 2door Bel Air Model 1611]from the US and during Restoration the Body Serial Plate was lost, Can I get one from a Wrecker Or has someone got one on a wreck ??

The one on the Cowl , looks like whoever repainted the car ground it off!!!
the one on the door post is OK

HI Dave,

You can have a new Cowl Tag reproduced.
The only problem is you do not have the "old numbers" meaing the body sequence number or the production date.

The Paint and Trim numbers are easy.

www.datatags.com is the only vendor I will recommend for "correctness".
