Is the windshield divider (interior piece) common ONLY to the 39 Chevy or the same as some other years? Billu38

Thanks Gene....let me stretch the question....got someone looking for a 39 inside windshield divider piece...I have one I marked as Pontiac, Olds years and years ago...it's 13 3/8 inches long...could this be for a 39 Chevy too? Too long for my 38...thx...Billu38

It would only fit a 1939 Pontiac Quality 6 and Oldsmobile 60 series as they also used the Fisher A body. The parts numbers would be different for each make as tey came with the wood grained material applied.
Perhaps a member with a 1939 could measure theirs and reply.

Yes there are four trim screws and the mirror shaft goes in between the top two trim screws. It is a threaded shaft on the mirror and held with a special looking lock nut.
