Trying to id correct year of a truck (1930-31)? #400066 12/18/17 11:37 PM

OP jimserra Grease Monkey Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 2 FL	I'm looking at a truck and would like to know if it is a 1930 or a 1931. Data plate says it's a "Universal" and I believe that would indicate it's a 1930. Thoughts? Thanks in advance, Jim

If a 1930 it will have louvers on the hood on the back 1/3 and round instruments in the dash. Will also have wood rimmed steering wheel with four spokes. There are some other noticeable differences compared to a '31. How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
