Hello to all; On the front bench seat, it looks as if there was a strip of metal to help hold the seat cushion in place. Can anyone shed some light on this or possibly some (pics) or measurements?? Many Thanks, ________________ joes 37
Hello Joe, If you still need the info, I have my seat unbolted to allow my less than slim body room to access under the dash. I can take picks and email them to you if you like.

Hey Dave, thanks for the reply. Now, I've heard of a piece of thin metal being across the front of the wood frame to help hold the seat cushion in place, because it kept wanting to slide off the wooden frame. I know of the two side pieces on either ends help a little! But what i did was cut two pieces's of 2" angle iron and mount them to the wood frame. Now, that holds the seat cushion in place. Dave, would appreciate any pic's you have of it. Thanks agin,Joe.
Hello Joe, These brackets work to hold the adjustment sprocket axle inplace and the upper lip guides and holds the seat down against the sprocket. With this new forum format, I don't see any way to add photos. I did try to send you an email, but it didn't go thru. Check my profile for my email, send me your current email and I will email you pics.

I can post some pictures for a 1937 Master Coupe if someone will confirm that the mounting is the same. Otherwise I would just be creating confusion which is not what you need right now.
Thanks Steve, I'll give it a try. I prefer to post pics so others can refer to them if the topic should come up again.
Well I tried. My last computer was an Apple ( I have an HP now) and it seemed pretty easy. I think I will need a step by step to see what I'm doing wrong.
