I think we all are aware that a lot of restoration is being done where vintage cars are becoming HOTRODS. Here is a Craigslist posting from Windsor, NY. The question is will someone restoring a 41 stumble across the ad and rescue the items or will they end up with a metal recycler someday?
I would like to make three points. One these are rare parts. Try to find low mileage, good condition, original parts. Second, What else is the guy throwing out - transmission, radio, heater, dash gauges, grill, stainless, steering box, radiator, tire rims, jack, rear springs? Lastly, how can we, as an organization, do something about original parts being wasted? Could, should we be sharing this info on our Chat site?
