1928 1 ton capitol.
Original starter motor will not turn.

Was working before truck was laid up to get a clutch replaced. (couple years ago)
Foot switch & battery are good.

Applied +ve power directly from battery to terminal of starter with no result.
Second ground wire was added from frame to motor mount.

The first time i tried foot switch it made a short noise and then nothing.
Flat spot?

Thanks for suggestion.
I thought i did post in correct area for 1912-1928.

Not sure how to navigate as there is
is a lot going on with this site.

I will dig a little deeper.

Actually, you posted in the "New To Chat" forum which is a forum where new members to Chevy Chatter can post their very first question. As mentioned above you should post in the 1912-1928 forum instead where more fellows will see your question and be able to help you with answers.

Once you get used to the site it will be easy for you to surf around.
