working on installing fenders for a 30 sport coupe.
the placement of fender welting anti squeak, for the rear fender and running board think the cord portion of the anti squeak is in positioned up, for the front fender is the cord portion positioned towards the engine or the tire (outside).

Don't know exactly what you mean by the above. At any rate, the anti-squeak is always positioned with the round part (cord) in the up position.

Beaded welting goes between front fender and splash apron, splash apron and running board, rear fender and body. Also a short piece (some without bead) between front and rear fender and running board.
