Guys,
Just got my wheels back from the sandblaster. So a couple of questions. I believe that the large disks should be black, but what about the small disk that the nuts fasten down to, should those be the color of the body? And the rim, should it be black or some type of silver or the body color?

Should I just paint the nuts and bolts black?

Hi Jeff,

Assuming you are referring to your 1925 sedan.

According to both Superior Model Series K parts lists, dated April 1, 1925 and January 1, 1926 on page 3, the disc wheel is listed to include the Clamp Ring which is followed by, (Specify color of Clamp Ring).

The way I interpret this is the color of the clamp ring is the body color.

Thanks Roger, Did we talk about this before offline, seems like maybe we did, not sure?

Does anyone know about the split rim itself? is it black or silver?

In that time period most rims were galvanized or zinc plated. Some will tell you cadmium plated but those will not last as long as zinc.
