Hello All!
Looking for a link to purchase or view an assembly Manual for a 1954 Chevy Passenger vehicle.
All I can find in any online search anywhere is one for trucks. Any Ideas?
Are they so similar they are interchangeable?
PS - NOT looking for a shop manual or parts manual- but an actual assembly manual.
Thanks!

No assembly manual available.

There is a 1949 Fisher Body manual that contains useful information.

The Shop Manual gives detailed instructions and photos of practically every part of the car. Keep in mind your 54 is mechanically identical to the 49-52 cars. Any exceptions are dealt with in dedicated chapters to your 54.

Not sure what info you're looking for, but the Shop Manual is very complete. Also, the Fisher Body Manual has good info as well. Not a lot of difference bet 54 and 49-52s as far as construction goes.

I sent you a PM

I believe that 1955 was the first year for Chevrolet Assembly Instruction Manuals (passenger cars). Haven't a clue about the Assembly Manual beginning for trucks.

1954 was the first year for trucks. That manual is sold for all AD trucks but is not accurate for 1947-1953.

She has a car--not a truck.
