Can anyone tell me how to fasten the door window beltline weatherstrip to the door and garnish molding on a 37 coupe? The supplier told me to drill holes in the door and garnish molding and secure the weatherstrip with screws.I really don't want to do that. The door has small slotted holes in it and I was wondering if there were some type of clips that were originally used to fasten it. How do any other people do it? How were they fastened from the factory? Thanks

Don't use that supplier.

There should be little rubber bumpers that fit into the slots you found. The stop the glass from rattling. You should be able to get them from The Filling Station.
