The bottom rear of the front seat in my '48 Stylemaster shows the imprint of something that was attached there and some tack marks but nothing is there. I am redoing the interior of the car and would like to make it correct. Can anyone advise me as to what went there? Leather perhaps? See picture...

Yes, apparently a previous owner had added something that didn't belong back there. I will add the additional carpet per your picture. Thanks, Mickey Holton
