Does anybody know if the fiberboard panels used to trim out the sides and back of the rear seat in the trunk are reproduced? The panels in my '48 Fleetmaster Sport Coupe are pretty sad. If they're not reproduced I could clean and repair them, but they'd need painted. Any ideas on the paint and color?

HERE Pre-cut and finished. Just a little expensive like most everything for old cars. Just give them a call, nice folks.

Thanks! I ordered my front mat and rear carpet from them earlier this year. Just sent them an inquiry for the trunk parts, didn't see that stuff in their online catalog.

As long as you have the old ones for patterns, you could order painted cowl board from Restoration Specialties in Pennsylvania and cut them out yourself with a utility knife or heavy shears. Last time I talked to the folks at Restoration, a few colors were getting scarce but that may have changed. Same with the front kick panels. Much cheaper option than LB.

If they have a suitable color ask them if the will be at Carlisle or Hershey for your pick up, assuming you will be attending or know someone who is. I can get them to W PA close to I-80 for you if that is any help.

Thanks for your kind offer. I'm still waiting on color verification. Neither Hershey or Carlisle are in the cards for this year, and I don't know anybody else going.
