Am having trouble finding the reamer to finish the bushings. The new shaft measures .7915. Anyone have this info?

I suspect you need an adjustable reamer. There are many on ebay.

A machine shop could hone them for a better fit. I have all my bushings honed rather than reamed.

The new bushing quite possibley dont need much taken out of them so honing would be the way to go though reaming will take the out of round off them, just be careful not to take too much with the reamer. Tony

Here's a picture of a small size reamer that I made. It is just a piece of copper tube with a 1 inch slot cut in the end so you can put a piece of emery cloth in it. Patent pending. Cheers, Dean ![[Linked Image from vccachat.org]](https://vccachat.org/gallery/47/medium/4171.jpg)
