The original tire size for a 1957 was 7.50 X14.In the old letter series tires this would be equal to a F 78 X14....The H is equal to a 8.55 in the original 1957 sizes.
The radial size equal to a 7.50 X 14 is a 205 X 75 14 ...or a 215 X 70 14.A 215 X 75 14 can also be used and looks about like the stock 750 X 14 when on the car....larger sizes can be used but could put an additional strain on the old narrow 5" rims that may already be more weakened by rust. Also a wide tire will rub on the frame when wheels are turned to the extreem position.

Hey Jim, I didn't remember you had a 54 210 two door. (At least according to the picture you have one.) Wow, is it a Del Ray?? I sure hope you didn't bring it to the NW Meet in Kelso last year, or I'll really be embarrassed. I brought my 54 Bel-Air (red and white) hardtop to that meet. Just sign me 'personalized' judging info Bill.
