OP Goldenwarrior Backyard Mechanic Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 324 South Mills NC	Does anyone know when the baffle was added to the water pump for these old 4 cylinders? I have a 24 Chevy that appeared to be all original when I got it. During restoration of the engine I did not see any remains of a baffle and subsequent assembly and inspection can find no provision to install one. I am guessing this was a later engineering change to help with cooling? Any insight appreciated. Thanks, Tom
