I pulled the head from the old Chevy and I have two cracks, one in # 3 and one in #4. I am looking to find an original replacement if possible. Head casting # 836961 (original head on car) Motor rebuilt in 1980. I had heard that a 1934 head would work and would increase HP. Thanks for checking. I have asked about 10 individuals from VA. to CA. and with no good results. Thanks again Tom

Sorry to say the 1934 Master head will not work on a 1933 Master.

If at all possible, have your cylinder head repaired.

I would give Joe @ Tucson Cyl Head a call 520-624-7711. I'm sure there are others out there. I know they can most likely fix it. I had 10 cracks in my 33 Standard head....Joe

I have a 33 head that needs to be inspected. Let me know if you are interested.

It appears CLASSIC7CHEVYS is looking in all the wrong places and has not returned to this site.
