Good day everyone
My 1932 coupe has an aluminum cover that goes covers the starter switch. It attaches with the same two screws. It looks, like a factory made piece with compound curves and scratches from a press.

Is this original?

Bye for now
Mike

There originally was a metal cover as you described over the starter switch to keep the electrolock cable from touching the starter switch terminal.
