Sorting out my Gaskets and such that I have on hand. Got a Best gasket Complete Kit from an Estate. I have an odd ball gasket i can NOT place ?!? It does not Fit the Carb Mounting, too Wide Does not fit the Manifold Mounting not Wide Enough Unknown Gasket Pict

sorry Gene, forgot to mention it is to small for the thermostat or water outlet either. that was my first thought !!

It looks like a '27 - '28 inlet manifold gasket to me. Two are required.

Here are the dimensions from one of two 1928 inlet manifold gaskets that I have in an original package. The package also includes, two 1928 exhaust manifold gaskets and one 1928 thermostat housing to cylinder head gasket.
Overall length = 3-3/8"
Overall width = 2-1/8"
Center hole ID = 1-1/4"
Bolt Hole Centers = 2-5/8"

I grabbed my calipers and got some dims for everyone... Unknown Gasket w/ DimsOverall Length: 3.50 Overall Height: 2.25 Overall Thickness: .065 Large Hole Dia: 1.70 Bolt Hole Dia: .42 Bolt Hole Center to Center: 2.62
