Does anyone know where you can get the stainless trim that goes on the luggage rack. Near as I can tell they are 3 feet long. Also looks like there is places for hasp to hold trunk lid down, maybe chrome not sure. This is on a 1932 delux sedan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ron I am still working on horn problem . I took them apart cleaned rust off reassembled and adjusted as best I could . One worked pretty well second horn not as loud.put them on the car and even when I put power to them they didn't work just clicking sound This is frustrating thanks for any help. Ron

Are you talking about the folding luggage rack for the coupes and roadster or are you talking about the luggage rack for the Extension trunk that goes on the phaeton, sedan and coach models?

I have a 32 4 door delux sedan with the trunk on the back and the luggage rack folds up behind it. There are 3 places for stainless strips to go.

His name is Ken Koontz. He lives in Ohio. I bought a set of these from him for my '31 folding rack. They are solid stainless and are just beautiful. Much better than the originals. Once you join, send him a Private Message on Chatter.

Happy Motoring,
Bill

OK I have joined VCCA today but I don't know how to send a message to Ken Koontz about the stainless trim I need for the 1932 luggage rack. Can someone direct me? Thanks Ron

Ron......thanks everyone for the positive comments. I am presently trying to hold down sand on a beach. I have material to make 3 more sets of trunk rack bars for the '31 and '32 rack. These are not the ones for the extension trunk or the Canadian vertical bars , sorry. I can also be reached at kenstradingpost@yahoo.com.
