Back three months ago, in March, I was given a name of a transporter, I'm not certain if it was on this site or not.

This husband and wife team, who reside in Oregon or Washington, will travel cross country at a reasonable rate.
They also travel to Fairbanks Alaska Auto Museum, but the museum doesn't open until 4 p.m. eastern time.

I cannot find my info, but need their names, if anyone recalls.

I'm looking to transport from the Pacific Northwest area to Western NC.

If anyone recalls who these folks may be, I would be most appreciative. .... A not so common name for the company, as I recall.

Thanks,
Bob.

Could you please share in case others find themselves in the same situation. Also curious if you have found a Corvair to your liking or did you sell a car?

Hello Steve,
I apologize for not replying sooner, have not been to "general discussions" recently.
I own two very nice '51's, but are not yet sold.
I have had offers for trades, have been asked to finance the cars, have even been offered salvage value from one individual.
So, no sales or serious buyers yet.
The transporter I was searching for is based just outside Portland, Oregon.
BATS MOTORSPORTS is the company. SEE LINK BELOW.
When in Alaska last year, we visited an auto museum in Fairbanks.
The curator spoke very highly of these folks (a husband / wife team), for BATS does all the in and out transporting for this auto museum.
A week ago, I did purchase a '69 Corvair 500 Coupe, a two owner, 28,000 mile vehicle.
Its claim to fame is the fact it was on display in the Tacoma, Washington Lemay Auto Museum during the CORSA Convention in 2014.
BATS is reasonably priced, Corvair will be coming in an enclosed trailer, should be in my hands, from Portland by mid July, 2 weeks from now.
