I am looking for a new set of white wall tires for my 1933 Chevy five window coupe size 5.25/5.5 18. Also will be needing a new interior. Sources for these items and other parts suppliers for this car would be great.

I got tires from Lucas Tire. There's also Coker. Just so you know they don't make the period correct replacement white wall tires. The cars didn't leave the factory with white walls but lots of people use them....Joe

Thank you for the replies. I did check Lucas and they seem to have what I am looking for. Was not able to find "Enterprise".

Your not going to get a perfect match . Then have your automotive upholsterer duplicate the original design. mike

I agree with other comments on LeBaron Bonney for the interior, they make very nice interiors. Just be aware that the one mohair color they advertised at the Fall Hershey meet several years ago as an original color was very orange-ish in color and no where near an original 1933 color. I have seen some mohair samples from them that look very nice.
I have older whitewall tires on my 1933 Master 5 Window Coupe, and plan is switching back to black wall tires when I replace them. I just never felt they looked correct on the car.
Just my opinion here. Lester is one of the only selections you will find if you want 525/550-18 whitewalls, but in my opinion their 525/550-18 tires look like a larger tire size marked as this size. The other issue is the Lester whitewall is very wide and look like they should be on a much larger classic car and the fact that the tires appear larger in size makes the white portion even seem larger.

For years I ran on the old Sears 5.25/5.50 whitewall Nylon tires and was perfectly satisfied. Next set was Coker and I really had a difficult time keeping the car on the road. Seemed that sidewalls were weak compared to the old Sears tires and the footprint on the ground was about 60% of the Sears tire. I bought another set Denman's several years ago and they are somewhat better but still not up to Sears performance. I am considering Goodyear next if they are still around. Some of the larger tires will not fit inside the spare tire cover if you are using one. Would like to see other's experience posted here.
