So I finally got my new carb installed, and decided to tackle the exhaust leak at the manifold to downpipe connection. I found that one of the exhaust manifold bolt holes is damaged (missing a chunk) and the bolt won't tighten. There doesn't seem to be room for a nut on the backside. Does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement part or fix?

Thanks

Sounds like you need to either repair or replace the manifold.

take the manifold off and examine how the break is in relation to the bolt hole.

Most likely you will have to get a piece of steel, shape it, and tap a new hole. Then have it welded professionally by somebody with the right electrode and machine to do the job properly.

You might have to purchase another manifold if it cannot be welded properly.
