ROARA..........ummmmmm, me computer expert, really and at what point in my existence have I earned that great honor, that you seemingly out of the wild blue yonder, bestowed upon me. Sometimes people say the strangest things and I have no idea what THEY are smoking ? Where they got their supposed info, is this TRUMPIAN FAKE NEWS , because it sure is too me. Because I am not a card carrying member of the VCCA but only just another minion here on VCCA CHAT, I cannot nor can anybody else who is not a member of VCCA access the picture . All I get is ...."USA chevy sport roadster for sale last year, ACCESS DENIED ". mike

All the more reason to support the fine folks that bring you the VCCA Chat Site, The G&D, and tours and shows that come with being a member. As an International member, a "computer expert" like yourself gets the "online membership" at a fairly nice discount!
Those accustomed to the finest...find it in Chevrolet. 1953 Belair Convertible 1951 2dr Deluxe Sedan 2015 GMC SLE 4X4

My friend Perry 36 ragtop managed to access the picture............**he is a VCCA member**...and sent it too me. By the radiator ornament its a 1935 standard...........also by the rear fenders its also identified as a 34-35 standard series. This car has as much chance of fetching $50,000 as Santa Claus coming july 1. mike

How much would it cost to buy another '34-'35 roadster or restore one? And if you could buy one where would that be?

well there are 2 of them 1934-1935 std for sale in the new England area, member ROARA has one, still might be the other one listed for sale in for sale section. ?? Is asking $50G. and its an Australian built body
An unrestored one like both of them, ROARA is offerering a 34 I think was at $30G .
The black 35 roadster from Saskatchewan, shipped to british Columbia I believe is now in the new England area with Dave Sylvain restoring it for her. Cost...........not even going to guess.
Mine is being made into a street rod and I am easily into $50G spent on parts. NOS : radshell, running boards. Left and right welled fenders tail light arms, pots, luggage rack. Gas tank cover panel buy $800 repairs to do it right $1600.
Better make sure that the car is completely there, because parts are very specific to the main body, its not a FISHER body.
The last ones in roadsters I have seen on ebay have been Australian built bodies and they are diff than USA. Nothing listed for sale in a year. Better to buy an older restoration and do repaint or ???

On ebay last summer and fall a 1934 or 35 phaeton was listed as fully restored by a st. Louis MO car sales firm. They started at $60G, listed it a couple of times at starting bid $42G with reserve. Last I saw was listed for $46G buy it now, sell ??? There has been a black 34 master phaeton on ebay or online from florida.......$20G !!!! in last 6 months. A 1934 chev phaeton burgundy with black fenders went thru Barrett-Jackson in their spring florida auction and sold for $35--38G . Looked perfectly stock but apparently somebody put a 350 chevy and auto and whole lot of other features once I researched the car a little more. Pretty sure somebody bought a well restored car at the right price and updated it. Makes more sense doing it that way than trying to find a buildable one and investing 2-3 years labor . MIKE
