Here is the story, my mom bought a new 1957 Convertible in Charleston, WV. She still has the original sales receipt and the original registration, I wish she kept the original car. Now she is trying to find the current owner to give them this information.
I tried to track it down through WV Department of Registration, but they said a flood destroyed all records before 1966. So now I am at phase two that is posting on Chevy interest news groups to find out how the best way to accomplish finding this car. Anybody have any suggestions or know of any databases that can help me find this classic?

If you have the VIN number (hope it is on the sales receipt) and if you post it here people can check their number to see if we get a match. If no VIN then any numbers you might have...
