In the final stages of getting the '57 back on the road and I need some more help. The wire that goes from the heater blower should follow what route?

Hey Gator. You need to buy the book, 1957 passenger factory assembly Instruction manual. This Is a must book If you own a 57 chevy. Well worth the money. The filling station has this book and I think It cost twenty dollars. The book covers everything about your 57 chevy.

The wire goes from the motor up to a U clip on the upper verticle part of the firewall towards the center. Its at about the same height as the water valve. From there it runs thru a hole in the firewall that is just above the resistor that fits into the heater duct.Should be a rubber gromet in the hole.

Thanks Gene. Don, check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4529131453&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT I think I have bought every '57 book out there. Will check your reference to see if it shows the wire. Thanks. :)
