Also the front and rear end plates will be solid with no openings for ventilation.

Looks like you need a new Delco-Remy tag on your generator. Also, your fan belt is too long. The generator should not be laying down so low on the engine block. Having the correct length of fan belt is very important. Your engine is looking great however!

Yeah the black is starting to fade off of it ... everything is still legible, just the flash on the phone killed it in the pict.
I plan to order a new belt from TFS on my next order. Hopefully the proper one with OUT the cogs !! unless i can pick one up locally at auto store. Just need information/ Part Number to get !!
Thanks, coming together slowly but surely

I bought a wrapped black Gates belt at a small engine supply house. An industrial belt would also look correct but would be harder to find. You just need the size in length and width or the correct old belt. So far it is holding up very well.

I buy a fractional horsepower belt from my local mom & pop hardware. They work fine and last a loooooonnnnnggggg time. I believe the '29 belt is 38" with 5/8" width.

Exactly....and I use a bit of acetone to remove the lettering before I install it. Looks just right and works fine.
