I am just starting to restore a 49 chev pickup that once belonged to my grandfather. I would like to keep it as original as possible and am looking for information about correct colors for engine detailing and other paint detailing. Do you know of any resources that contains this invormation?

You would have better luck with your search on the 1949-1954 year group than this one. 1955-1960 colors were generally different.

Good Luck,
