Gentlemen,

I am having a helluva time reinstalling a spring in the emergency brake handle of a 36 Model FA. It's probably some silly trick I'm missing but any advise or pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tom H.

Tom,
I don't recall having that problem with my '36. But I sure have been frustrated on more than one occasion with my '31. Each time it was a matter of positioning the spring improperly. In fact after the last time, I bought an old original brake handle and spring just so that I could always have a copy of one that I could look at.

I know that this doesn't help, but I might be able to take photo of my '36 brake lever if that would help.

Thanks to all. The pictures help immensely.
