I was planning to install a glass bowl fuel filter on my engine. I have a (new) fuel line that goes from the fuel pump to the filter, but miss the short line that goes from the filter to the carburetor. Anyone knows where to get this?

There is no line at that location. Just a fitting with 1/8" male pipe threads on each end.

Assuming you're talking about a '51 Chevy, here is a pic, showing what Gene is explaining. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/accessories/1951am/51aim20.htm

I have a glass bowl A.C. filter on my 52. I just made up the line with fur-rel and nuts.

The standard way to mount a fuel filter is to use the straight pipe fitting as mentioned. One end will fit ito the carburetor and the other end into the filter. This will make the line about 3 inches too long. Then the line can be cut and re-doubled flared or the line can be reformed at the bend to make it shorter. There is no line between the filter and carburetor. The diagrams shows using an angled p pipe fitting which may be difficult to find, especially in Europe.

The fitting used in the diagram, at carb inlet, is a 60 degree fitting.

Thank you all for your input. Looks like I have to figure something out by myself. Just thought a vendor in the US might have all the necessary bits and pieces that would make the job easier. Anyway, I know what to do this coming weekend :)
