I have a 1954 Chevy 3100, 235 that I bought and it was partially restored. I have a new ignition switch and don't know exactly which wires go to the three terminals on the switch. It does not have any letters or abbreviations on it. It is from LMC, part #36-0734. This truck has a starter with a solenoid so I am going to use a push button on the dash to start it. The switch has three positions. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Does the switch have a spring loaded return in the left key position? if it does that is the starter.

Do you have a shop manual for your truck? If so, a wiring diagram should be in the back of the shop manual.

No, it is not spring loaded. It has straight up position, one click to right and 2 clicks to right. When you ohm it there seems to be no difference between 1 click or 2. Connection is made between all 3 terminals either way. Thanks.
